The Value of Clothing
Do you ever stop to think how much time and thought somebody has put into the garment you are wearing right now?
The Value of Clothing is a collective fashion installation. It consists of ten wearable pieces of art that anyone can borrow to use. The project emphasizes the time and thought somebody has put into every garment we are wearing. Its’ goal is to open up the process of making a garment and to better understand the real value of clothing. Photos of the borrowers wearing the pieces will create a virtual installation on of the project. Value of Clothing collection and its lending service was launched during Helsinki Design Week in September 2019 in Helsinki.
